I had the day off and was approached by Steve (The creator of the Binsky lure) to fish for some hybrids. I've never caught one before so I was super excited about hitting the water with him. What a day we had! Fished from 7am-3pmish.. We caught nearly 40 Hybrids all together but Steve really put the beat down catching well over 25 hybrids himself along with a few largemouth bass. It was my first ever Hybrid outing and I got spoiled. We used the 1/2 oz Binsky mainly in gold color whcih did most of the damage although i caught a few on the Silver Binsky. Once you understand how to work them in a situation, its GAME ON!

Enjoy the pictures!

Binsky Blade Bait Instructional Video. About 30 minutes long. I watched it yesterday and it was very informative.

Great job btw. 40 Hybrids in a day is no joke!

After reading your AWESOME post I went and checked my Binsky box. Supply was running low. I placed an order, 10 Binsky's on the way. Been using those for I think almost 3 years now and they are a MUST HAVE for every angler. YEA BUDDY! TIGHT LINES!!!

that shot where you're holding two fish looks like an HDR shot, was it?

It's funny cause ive has the binsky for 4 years now and only used it twice besides this last trip. I was fishing them completely wrong the entire time hence why i never had confidence in them. Now that i know how to use them the right way its going to be one of my go-to baits for sure!

Thanks... We would cast out, let it hit the bottom then jig it from the spot it dropped all the way to the boat..

Simply HDR is what I use..

IMO, regular pictures or real HDR shots would show the fish better

Simply HDR is a App for smart phones and also Ipads.
If you want the real thing there is plenty of software out there as well as cameras that will take 3 or more shot HDR photo's (requires a tripod).
Check this site out for a real look at some stunning and not so stunning HDR photo's. Some people say they look too "cooked" and I agree sometimes.

Nice fishing there Jerry. I have yet to catch one of those hybreds.
We did however catch the bottom with the prop:eek:

I used both in those pics.. HDR to bring out the colors and simply hdr to do like a cartoonish image..

Surprised the hybrids were still biting like that! I fished SR four or five times in late oct early nov and marked fish in a few spots but didn't have much luck only caught two or three. Sat on a school not far from the ramp one day and marked fish in the spot for hours and only had one all day, Just purchased a few binsky's when was at Dow's at LH in oct and was vertically jigging them but no luck . I was ripping it up and letting it fall, I guess too fast to get a bite in the colder water. I watched the video too and got some good info so hopefully this year they will be another weapon in the arsenal instead of a dust collector in my box !!! Amazing when you find out the proper way to work a lure how your catch's increase. Learned alot of stuff from the site and that's one of the thing's I like about it. Seems like there's several guys who share info and places without spot burning and that's Great! My Thanks go out to all "U GUYS" who share the wealth with others.
BESIDES WE ALL KNOW, you can have all the right stuff, doing the it the right way , at the right time and spot and still not catch !!!!!!!!LOL

Even Steve who I fished with was surprised about how much luck we had. Usually he said hell get 5 or 6 but we really killed it that day. Plus it was 64 degrees out which might have turned the fish on a little. regardless it was a hell of a lot of fun, and since that trip ive purchased about 5 binski's in ever color and size! Ready to hit up SR again come early spring for some more wipers.
