Big D report 12/4

Once again I visited the Delaware river in search of Mr eye and once again he has managed to elude me,but I did manage my PB smallie a nice fat 20".Tried 3 different spots today using rapalas,divers,jigs,and crawlers presented in way I could think of.Picked up the smallie on a mister twister and couple of poor man eyes(suckers)on worms.

Congrats on the pb smb. It says here in the F&G digest that only 146,496 walleye were stocked in the Delaware river this year, keep trying.

its actually about 840,00 eyes in the whole span of the Big D. and that doesnt account for any PA stockings. The gap alone got 510,00. This is for year 2011 I havent seen the 2012 spread sheets yet. I been doing some marble eye hunting myself this year.

Fish fought like a big channel,actually thought that's what it was long runs and hugging the bottom.I haven't really targeted eyes but I have been doing some research and will figure them out soon or later.They SHOULD be holding in deep eddy's waiting for a disoriented baitfish to swim by,Next Ill try some different baits and presentations.
