Good find Andy. I recently moved to West Orange, so this is pretty cool. Wonder if it would get some sort of stocking. Essex County's version of Mountain/Furnace Lake? Yes please!

Well, It was fun while it lasted...:mad: I have been fishing at the Orange Reservoir for the past 3 years ever since they reopened it 3 years ago after a 15 yr closure.... The first year they opened it I was pulling 5lb + largemouth out of there all the damn time :D .. then the second year as more people started fishing there the fishing started getting a little slower but I was still pulling occasional big Bass... Now in the 3rd year and the fact that they started developing this place and almost everyone knows about fishing here the bass fishing is just like any other over fished pond/reservoir (slow and dinks)....

Thanks for the city of Orange for ruining the best little fishing paradise that I had..:mad:

That wasn't your little honey spot alot of guys fished that res for many yrs including myself.

Maybe you should start a petition to have it stocked w,warm water fish.
