Hit the big water solo around 645. ran into some friends and also members from here, hope they did good. Got 2 wipers in the first 5 min back to back and then not a nibble til almost noon. Got a fat pickeral to wake me up and another wiper right after about 5-6pds, a nice one. No eyeballs even tho I tried like hell. Tried all my usual spots and even made a run to other side I never fish to look for life. Marked tons of bait and alot of fish too, just werent hammerin them today. I cant kill em everytime lol. Prob be out there 2moro too, I wanted to take a ride somewhere else but Im lazy and lakes 5 min away...........til 2moro..........tight lines fellas........

PS water 57, slightly stained (like usual) no thermocline, lake is officially turned over I checked it well

Good seeing you out there Sat Jimmy.

We were out there from about 8 AM to 4 PM. Got three Hybrids between 3 and 4 lbs. all on herring. Love those fish. It was slow but it was a beautiful day out there. Actually a little too nice...those "go fast" boat guys ripping by within 50 feet of people anchored when there was plenty of room out there really had me scratching my head a little. Do people just not get it or just not care? :confused: I can't even imagine that place on a weekend during the summer.

Anyway will definitely be back during the off season as that place is loaded with bait and fish. Way better than anything I've seen at SR or RV.

good seeing u guys out there too, glad the spot produced for you. I was out sun too w another member from here and was the tuffest day ive had on LH almost skunked if it wasnt for a jigged up small striper. whole diff lake sun. all the fish and bait moved into 35+ of water, literally most of the main lake was full of bait balls and suspended fish. Was blowing 30+ and u guys didnt see anything on sat. compared to sun.....................a few cigar boats were out there and I had sum *@#hole in a 30 foot w TRIPLE 250'S!! blow by me at 80-90 no joke less than 50 feet away and they kept making passes. of course the fish had to move out into the middle on a sunny day.....it sucked....its gonna be jigging or downrigger trolling the rest of the year for me............
