battle vs AF

I have a Penn battle 4000, which I like very much, and am considering adding a battle 3000 to the arsenal. A buddy says the AF 3000 is a better reel. Any thoughts? New AFs are still around at a good price. Sorry if this has already been covered. Thanks.

This is only my opinion......the Battle is the BEST reel in its price range. I have witnessed the bigger models land 400# fish. Ounce for ounce I would put it up against any reel at the same cost.
