Hey guys, Just moved to the Fairways in Lakewood twp and looking for fresh water places to fish. Dont have a boat yet, but I dont mind hiking. Sold my salt water boat , getting too expensive to run and want to down size. Any help would be great.

Lots of places for pickerel along and around Rt 70 out into Burlington County. Pine Lake, Lake Horicon, Presidential Lakes, random bogs etc. Buy some maps and explore. Spillways can be good all winter.

I've kayak fished Lake Shenandoah and Lake Carasaljo, caught bass in both. There's a few places you can fish from shore or dock at Shenandoah, and there's a walking path around much of Carasaljo so a lot more shoreline access. Lake Manetta is right next to Carasaljo, never fished that one. Good luck.

No, that is Lake Carasaljo- and Lake Manetta. Shenandoah is 1/2 mile or so East of Rt 9.
