Hit the river for a little while tonight. Im liking these cooler night temps, AHHHHHH YES, FALL! Anyway managed 3 average PIKE tonight, 1@24, 1@ around 30 and another about 31 or so. The bigger PIKE of the evening quick released himself so I only have a couple pics of the smaller guys. All fizz caught on the Firetiger Rattlin Rogue. TIGHT LINES!!!:D

This!
Glad to see they're active upstream by you Eddie. Any info from the state regarding the Pike stocking down there? Everything on the states website is "Two Bridges this" or "Dundee Lake that".

Wilson, If I got a giants hat then I would be a turncoat. Skunk, no words printed anywhere about the state stocking PIKE down low where i fish. Ive caught them as small as 10 inches this year and past years. I think the state doesn't give us all the info we're really interested in. The PIKE were gone for a while and now it seems as if a new batch has swam up or downstream into my general area. VERY INTERESTING!!!

Good to hear you've caught small guys...obviously a good sign you guys are getting some love from F&W. As for the big boys, I'll catch 'em up down here and tell them their crazy old Uncle Eddie says hi before tossing them back :p .

Stopped by the river today and picked up another 30 incher. 5-6 years ago there was a ton of BIG PIKE in this stretch, 40+ inch fish just disappeared after a couple of major storms but they are making a come back. After last years hurricane and the storm in october the fish were gone. I fished this spot a handful of times over the past 10 months only to come up with dink pike. Now over the past month they have made it back into my stretch, YEA BUDDY. I havn't seen the 40+ inch PIKE in this spot that I used to see and catch years ago but I have a feeling after a nice storm more fish will definately be in the area. TIGHT LINES!!!:D
