That would be 31.6 MILLION gallons to cross the atlantic :eek:

The QE2 site claims 49.5 feet per gallon which translates to 320,000 gallons for 3000 mile voyage :cool:

6 inches or 49 feet, what's the difference? :) That's what I get for passing along stuff without checking. Should have been suspicious when the "odd facts" before this one were "it's immpossible to sneeze with your eyes open" and "goldfish only have a three second memory span." Sounded cool anyway.
