Last class of the day got cancelled, stopped by Farrington on the way back. Got 2 crappies and a perch while jigging, then float fished with trout magnets, 2 pumpkin seeds. tried bass fishing the lily pads with a football head jig, nothing. i was never really a fan of punching jigs in heavy cover and im not sure if i was doing it right so i gave frogging a shot. latley i've been missing fish on them but today i made up for it....got 2 short bass but one had the chunkiest belly ever, like it swallowed a huge bullfrog or field mouse earlier :D the other was caught in open water doing the "walking the dog" retrieve.
