Well as most of you know I bought a 19 foot center console. I have a bimini, but would love a ttop. for you guys that have had them installed how expensive are they? I attached a pic of my exact boat with a ttop. any guesses as to how much it would cost. I dont know if it's $1,000 or $5,000. any ideas how much a small ttop should run me?

Give Atlantic Towers in Bayville NJ a call. I had one installed on my last boat and have nothing but good things to say about there company. They don't do installs themselves but they have a guy who does them on weekends for them.

Just curious about this? When you have a T-top installed should you take the additional weight under consideration when figuering out the gross weight your boat can carry? Say, if your boat can carry 900lbs and the t-top weighs 150, are you then limited to trying to stay with a load under 750lbs?

Yep and it's for this reason a lot of smaller boats with limited weight capacity get soft t tops instead or hard ones.

There always a chance if boat is still made, you might contact Mfg. , they may have one . You know it will fit properly !'
Other than local one big after market company in FL. Birdsall Marine, you could contact them. Over the years I had many custom add ons by them, all top quality!
I would still prefer local but years ago they had the largest selection of CC extras I ever saw!

I Would Say Leave It As It Is,i Think You Will Get More Shade Now Then With A T Top,my Opinion Yours Is Perfect;)

ttop gets the rods off the boat deck, gives you a place (T bag) to put life preservers, and with addition of electronics box, gives more storage.
adding the t top will make the boat fish Bigger.
was best money I spent when I ran the smaller boat. Bimini tops are ALWAYS in the way, because of how they have to fasten

What Dan said and a radio box is good to have for several reasons:
- Keeps your electronics out of the weather
- Keeps them out of the sun and in the shade so you can see them better
- Keeps them high enough up where you can see them when fishing in the stern so you can see if you are marking fish or where you are at on the map
- If it locks, you now have a secure place to permanently mount your electronics so you don't have to set them up each time you get on the boat.
