LDW Piking

Had another great day on the Passaic on sat. with Gatto1227. Spent about 7 hours on the river and we landed prob 15 fish total and missed at least that many. Got my pb with a thick 32 or so incher. Also hooked a real cool looking 26 incher that almost looked like a pickerel on the bottom half. All in all it was a great day on the water, which is pretty much the norm for this river.

Thanks guys! The river was pretty low with almost no current anywhere and yea that first fish had some really cool markings, I didnt really notice until I saw the pics.

AWESOME CATCH! That river is so stacked with PIKE, ITS INSANE! Congrats on the PB. Passaic river is where its at for crazy PIKE!!!

Oh yea, that spot was wide and still with weeds on one side and a bunch of structure on the other. That stretch was loaded with the bigger guys.

That first pic definitely looks like a pike/pickeral hybrid.... Ive never saw markings like that on a straight Pike.....
