Hit that Robert st. area this late morning between 11 and 230. Rivers looking good after the dam removal. We'll see what kind of shape it takes after a few heavy rains. The Smallies are definitely still there, like taking candy from a baby. It wasn't a banner day but I managed to get a bakers dozen averaging between 8-14 inches. Then I see a school of 4-5 MONSTER SMALLIES swimming around in circles, these bad boys were all over 18 inches. Managed to get 2 of them on the tube jig. The first big boy went 19 inches. The second bruiser SMALLIE went 19 1/2 inches, now thats AWESOME!!! The other Smallies ran and hid after they saw me take out 2 of there buddies. 1 of the fish in the school was well over 5lbs, the GODFATHER of all the SMALLIES in the area. Ill be back for him, oh yes I will!!! Gotta love midday fishing. TIGHT LINES!!!:D

SORRY ANDY! It didnt look like I would be there long with the clouds rolling in. I got back to Kenilworth around 3 to find a couple trees down and alot of water ponding on the streets. We had a good storm here in Kenilworth and not a drop out on the RR. I always miss the fun storms........

Didn't get wet at all, I did walk into some tall grass. When I hooked the first big smallie, he was rippin drag and I had to jump off the cliff to get a better angle on him. That was fun. I gotta get back there for that monster SMALLIE. This fish dwarfed the 2 I caught, had to be a 22-24 inch SMALLIE!!! Thats not my first time seeing monster smallies in there. I need some 6 inch freshwater lobsters for bait.

Nice job....I was thinking of going there SUnday as well but opted for a boating trip with the wife. I live about 10 minutes from there so might just need to hit it one night this week.
