Im going to head down fairly early, maybe 330 or so. Gotta stop somewhere and catch some big baits on the way down. Ill probably stop and get worms and XL shiners as a back up bait. Im probably going to fish til midnight!!! Anybody that wants to come down and try to catch some river monsters let me know, PM me.

Well I guess its last call fellas, anybody comin down to the river??? I went and made bait this morning, BLUEGILLS FOR EVERYBODY!!! FLATHEADS HERE I COME, YEAAAA BUDDY!!!

I'm well aware of the channel cat population but is the flathead population that big?? growing by the year?? How long have they been inhabiting the D??

Oh yea there in there. They've been in there I believe maybe 4-5 years. Im not too sure. Shucker got 3 last week up to 10 lbs, the week before that another buddy of mine proclaims to have caught a 25 lber. Im not sure how many are in the river but I know they can do some population damage, i know they fight like hell and I know I'm gona fry one up if I get em.................

good luck bro, I wish I had off tomoro to join you. My buddy caught 2 last week further up from where u fish, and a couple regular cats. he was using the berkeley catfish bait says he likes it. He mixes it too w real chunks

Wish I could go. Never fished the d myself and have been wanting to try it out.

Unfortunately I work a sh!++y shedule that includes nights and weekends. On the other hand, I get a lot of week days off. Not as much fishing pressure...........
