my son and i fished the striper contest on lake hopatcong this weekend.we fished hard from 5am saturday till noon on sunday.we had constant action with sm & lm bass,pickerel,white and yellow perch,crappie,bullheads and stripers.we had to make quite a few moves to find the bigger strippers but once we did it was game on.my son took 1st w/ a 8.14lbr and i took 2nd w/ a 8.9lbr.was tough to fish during the middle of the day as the boat traffic was crazy.always great time spent with my sons no matter what were doing.

we fish hard to win but keep it very loose with allot of b@ll busting and laughs.

awesome job you two! I give u ALOT of respect, I fish that lake mostly at night, but I know how the pressure is during the weekends especially. 99% of the guys who fish couldnt pull a bass out of there period during these times more like some monsters. Way to go guys two thumbs up
