Went for smalls got 2 lrge and 2 follows (pics)

Where smallies are king I didnt get a one. Got two large from the same cover. Got the big one first on joint rapala and missed the second one. Went back an hour later and got him with one of my fav lures, a kelly scented weedless worm. You can see the time dif by looking at the color of the pics. , the first bieng taken at dawn. Had two follows from the same tiger muskie on two dif lures. First was a deep crankbait. I saw the fish ten feet from the boat and about 8 feet down. Couldnt get a positive ID cause it left too fast. Second was a husky jerk. It followed right behind nipping at its heels. Opened its mouth 3 times but wouldnt commit. When it turned I could see the stripes.

Shoulda tied that bass to a balloon with a 2/0 treble hook through his back. Musky woulda swallowed him whole!!! Nice bass man!!!

Caught both off the same structure about an hour apart. On both follows musky was there and gone before I could figure 8. I didnt expect a muskie on either cast so I didnt think to figure 8 before I spotted it.
