Caught this guy last week on a big crankbait on Dundee Lake. Didn't know cats would hit cranks, but then again, nothing in this river surprises me anymore lol.

Didn't get a chance to weigh him, as he hooked himself and twisted on both treble hooks and I had him out of the water for longer than id like. He was good sized though. Is this guy a decent sized one for Jersey?

My dad caught a 3 lb Bullhead on a Lucky 13 and I caught a 5 lb Channel on a #5 Rapala . They were both caught from lakes .

I know the fish eye lens on what I'm assuming is a GoPro makes the fish look a tad bigger but the state record is like 4 lbs 8 oz. That fish looks close dude... Fat slimy piggy... lol

Don't think he was a state record lol, but he was pretty solid. Fish hit in about 2ft of water, and fought like it was a Pike.

And the beer was a icey cold Heineken that took me 5 minutes to open with the limited resources on my kayak. Ingenuity suceeded as usual though lol.

Caught what I believe was a white catfish on sunday morning on a little mepps spinner... Small, maybe a foot long, and I had a heck of a time getting all three hooks out of its mouth. Never would have guessed it possible.

catfish on crankbaits and spinners? sounds like there's still chemicals in that water, those fish are trippin!

I caught a Bullhead on a Daredevil once in upstate NY. Catfish never surprise me.

Looks like a bullhead. And a big one at that. Never seen a brown bullhead that big before. Up until just seeing that pic, I had never knew they got that big. Congrats on that catch.

they get pretty big. in last year's skillful angler awards the largest bullhead was 19".
