Went out yesterday and today for a couple hours before the heat. Wanted to catch some bass but ended up fishing for pickerel. Caught 20 between me and my dad :D . Also had about 10 misses. Almost all came on spinner baits. Here is a couple of the picks.

Have not personally fished there due to launching conditions, but looked like the pickerel landscape you ran into...I need a canoe
