For me, it's all about the sunnies... They are always good fighters but this time of year, they hit a whole different gear. If you can cast to the ledges, the bass fishing is good too, but I was just seeing what everyone did in the summer.

Carp, but the water temp is too high in the evening. Yesterday Carnegie Lake was 88 degrees and the Duck Island power plant was 92 degrees Monday. The carp weren't biting.

Favorite fish from shore any time of year is bass, especially in summer when the buzzbait bit is on! :D

ditto....sunnys on ultra light and grubs, non stop action in any brook, stream, river, pond, or lake you cast into!

awww yeah.. early morining buzz baits for big bass.. thats what im tlkn about~
