Hello all,
I am new to the forum and plan to be post regularly. I fish the river heavily for stripers and shad in the spring and smallies as the water warms. Towards the end of June I start fishing Spruce Run actively.
I have been to SR twice this year (last night and last Saturday evening) and hooked into 3 hybrids and 1 smallie each night. Thankfully, no cats yet.
I look forward to sharing info and learning from you all, over time.
Andy

Did you get over to SR yesterday? How'd you do?
I think that I'm headed there this evening. Watching to see what the weather is going to do.

Spent about 4hrs on the water 6:30 pm to 10:30. Slow trolled and got the skunk. Was my first try at trolling for them, maybe I didn't have something right. Everything looked good and we covered a lot of water, thought for sure we would hook up at happy hour. Thats fishing for ya, when you think you got it, you get the skunk.
