Hello. New here. I had two hours to burn Friday so took my Scanoe over to Farrington to do some bass fishing and ended up landing a nice pike at 7 pounds 30 inches. Have pics but can't figure out how to add them from phone. Was curious if anyone else had caught a pike there.

Congrats on the Pike and welcome to the forums. Lots of Pike fanatics here, so don't be shy posting reports and pictures. Your best bet for uploading them onto the forums is to make an account on Photobucket.com. Upload them onto there (they have a mobile app I use on my android), then simply cut and paste the link onto here. Super easy  .

I have only caught 2 in the last 12 years fishing there as I only target LMB. both were caught in the upper reaches on the pond in the pads...my favorite.
once saw a family of geese there with very young 'chicks?' saw a swirl and one was gone. awesome, and from the splash figured it to be a pike???
Have seen lots of guys trolling the lower end of the pond w/live bait..not my game, but must be productive as they are there

I live 10 mins from farrington. I am not the best fisherman but I am no slouch either. I have fished there maybe 10 times specifically targeting pike and several times targeting bass. Caught a couple of nice pics up to 3 1/2 pounds. Had one good bass trip with about 8 fish but nothing over 1 1/2. Two other times I caught 1 bass each at around 2 lbs. On one of my pike trips I ended up with what looked like teeth marks on my trolled daredevele. Another time I hooked into one while trolling a jointed rapala. Got it close to the boat and it looked to be the size of my leg. Lost it when my line was cut do to a defective eye on my pole. What bothered me the most about that is whether that fish ever dislodged the lure. Overall not to impressed with the fishing there. Just a few days ago I went to another pike stocked venue and I HAMMERED THEM! Caught at least a doz and missed a dozen more. They were taking topwater, jointed rapala, and spinnerbait. Caught small medium and large, (dont have any measurements cause I really dont care) and one accidental largemouth that was bigger than any bass I ever caught in Farrington.

my PB LMB in NJ was caught in Farrington off the pads @ nearly 8 lbs
This pond is not quantity but more quality IMO
The Dead Sea from Mid June till ~ Sept depending...fish the pads for the reward as it is waiting there
