Any word on who that was that feel off his boat in Morgan creek? Did the divers find him yet?

SAYREVILLE — A 43-year-old male who dove into the water at approximately 8 p.m. on Monday to retrieve a boat motor at Morgan Marina has not resurfaced, according to an emergency radio transmission from the Sayreville Police Department.

A search team comprised of the New Jersey State Police’s aviation unit, a dive team from Franklin Township and the Sayreville Police was mobilized. The search was suspended at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Monday due to darkness.
The search is expected to continue this morning. Check back with mycentraljersey.com throughout the day for updated information.

The above post is somewhat accurate...the man was a 24 year old male, which I knew growing up from the town of South Amboy....very sad news and really hits home hard...I was down there at 930pm and helicopter didn't arrive until after 10 and was called off at just after 11pm due to darkness..it was a very strong current down there last night..there is a crew out there now continuing the search today...prayers go out to all involved and especially the family
