Father's Day at the South Branch

Me and the dad went to a deep stretch near three bridges area. started off with tubes and got no luck, just snags. switched over to a grub and got 2 sunnies and a baby largemouth. I noticed lots of fish splashing the surface so i tied on a 2" popper and it was game on. managed my first top water smallie followed by 5 more, a largemouth and even a brown trout. Tons of blow ups also. Dad caught a few small things on worms. A good day out for sure :)
