Got the day off tomorrow and weather permitting would like to check out one of the Swartswoods. Never been to either before so looking for any info that may help me decide. I have a 16 ft deep V so wondering about the launching conditions at the Little S...I know the Big S has a good launch. Maybe both would be good to do?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ken

Big Swartswood is known for its Walleye while Little is known for its Tiger Musky. Big is EXTREMELY fishy with tons of dropoffs, ledges, submerged rocks/gravel. Its a pretty cool place to fish, especially after dark. I've yet to fish Little yet, but I do know its a lot smaller than the big lake. Why not try Little in the morning then Big after?:)

Weather permitting is the question.
Supposed to clear up by noon, at least that is what I heard.
1-2" of rain over night:eek:

It's been raining steady in Berkeley Heights since noon.

Love the big lake;)

Thanks for the info guys...I took a look at the contour maps on fish and game and based on that and the two of you saying go BIG that's now the plan. Never caught a Walleye either so why not. If the weather cooperates and allows we'll hit the little one too just to check it out. I'll let you know what happens either way.
