Star Brite. Looks like windex and treats 256 gal. with a 16 oz bottle. I run it everything but my truck because its diesel. Great for mowers, trimmers, atv's. Recommended for anything that you do not use every day.

Either product above is very good. i switch back and forth depending if one is on sale versus other right now Im using marine stabil ethanol because found good sale on it.
I run it all the time like stumpy said in all my stuff I do not drive run all the time.

I use only one Stabil. Switched to the alcohol ( more expensive) version 3 years ago when it first came out.
Used it in my 2 stroke Merc 20hp. And now in my 4 stroke Merc 25hp
I put it in every tank. Never know when you may have to stop ( work or other problems) using it for a while. Want the Stabil inside the injectors from any layup. Since it's in ALL the fuel I used I know it's in the motor/injectors.

The marine stabil only kept the gas good for a little less than 2 months in my weed whacker and leaf blower. I was told by a mechanic that the smaller the amount of gas, the faster it will go bad. I'm going to try the star brite next.

My snowblower, chain saw and outboards says your mechanic may be in error.

If I use anything, it is PRI-G to keep gas fresh. I never user stabil or any ethanol treatment. Don't seem to have ever needed it.

I buy a few gallons of CRC stabilizer to last me thru the season, usually double the dosage of stabilizer, knock on wood never had any issues. Pretty sure CRC is the cheapest to buy also.

I'm telling you from my own experience that it did not work in my weed whacker and leaf blower. Gas was bad after 2 months with the marine stabil. I drained the fuel, put in fresh gas and they ran great.
