yesterday and today i fished a new pond i found on google maps (well actually 2 ponds next to eachother) first a small one then bigger one. they are part of some housing community and had "NO FISHING SWIMMING BOATING ICE SKATING" signs all around....good thing the rich snobs living there obey that because both ponds were loaded with underfished hungry bass and sunnies :D. yesterday i hit the small pond first caught about 19 sunnies plus a baby bullhead on trout magnets. after that switched to a rapala and fished both ponds, having pickerel bite off my lures  but still managed 9 bass by sundown. today i fished all afternoon at both again and caught an incredible 40 bass and 20 sunnies, using a variety of lures. had pickerel bite off alot of tackle, plus tree casts :( but towards the end the only thing i had left to use was a yellow crappie jig, which surprisingly caught more than anything else :p. all small bass from 4 to 14 inches but great fun using a ML action rod w/ 6lb line. sunnies were huge for the most part though. only saw 2 other guys fishing. new records include overall highest quantity of fish in a day, most LMB's in a day, and biggest pumpkinseed. 60 fish total and almost up to 700 this year, hope i have more days like these :D
