Hit the river with my buddy for about 2 hrs today. We hooked a smaller brown trout and a smallie first, then on the way out my husky jerk got slammed right in the middle of the river. I knew it was a good fish right away. He put up a great fight, and he actually managed to swim right between my legs as I was pulling him to shore. Not quite the 5lb club yet, but a great fish measuring about 23in and my second of the week 20in or better. Now its time for some nighttime Catfish on the Millstone, hopefully I'll have a pic or two to share later!

Thanks guys! Its awesome having a walleye fishery so close to home and I haven't quite made it off the beaten path yet. I had my boat above Robert st. a couple weeks ago, next trip I'm prob gonna float from Raritan to Manville.

Float down to the 2nd 287 crossing, you can take out at the boat ramp by the park there on the left.
