Arrived at the musky conservation area at 10am hit the bridge for 10 min and pulled up 3 browns 2 bows and a brooke. there was a hatch going on so it was a little tough there. walked 20 min up the trail past many anglers and dipped in. used black/white rapalas and small black marbou jig. absolutly set the river on fire for the 3 hours. 60 plus fish . its hard to believe me but wow what a day. mid day as im tickin my jig along the bottom i feel a THUD!!!. i set the hook and my rod doubles over and my 4lb test just screams off the reel . i fought the fish for about 10 min in that fast moving water i was fishing. i measured him against my rod and checked it when i got home 25in! rainbow. it was a great fight great fish and a great release. a nice day on the river banggin them up. does anyone the weight of a 25in trout. the bow was nice and thick beautiful colors and looks very healthy she still in the go get them fellas.

Way to go! I guess I just suck:).

I guess the big ones wanted to bite today. I had a 7.5 pound bow last year I wish I could remember how long it was. I'll see if I can dig it up. Mine was mutant fat though. looked like a football.

congrats on landing your monster!
