This weekend one of my fishing buddy's is stuck with his 8 year old daughter so we cant take out the canoe and stuck on shore fishing. We want to try somewhere new and we have never fished Hopatcong yet. Are there any worthwhile fishing areas from shore at Hoptacong?

I take it that these areas are parking accessible? are there any exact directions to these aforementioned spots.... I once drove to hopatcong looking to shore fish and couldnt find one spot and ended up driving around the whole lake and heading home... lol thanks for the help and info

I was at Lake Hopatcong and went through the main entrance/boat ramp/beach area. Didn't catch anything, but that's probably my fault. I moved to Lake Musconetcong, which is part of Hopatcong but you have to drive into a neighborhood a bit. I had to drive along the shore until I found the boat launch behind a church.
