Sometimes if you put in the time for big trout it finally comes together!
Tonite was the topper , I landed two nice bows among a batch of smaller ones.
One of the big ones taped out at 25.5"
& 7.8 #'s. This one had the lure so deep no way of saving the fish.
The second was about 3" longer , estimated her to weigh in at close to 9#'s , a truly huge stream fish . This fish was definitely bigger than an 8.5# fish that I landed couple of seasons ago.
This fish was hooked lighty and no release issues! I didn't think just did it before I even thought about killing this fish. No regrets , love to havehad a camera to get a quick shot but I didn't .
I have a photo of the fish I had to keep, but forget how to post, help anyone?
All in all a great trout with I'm sure my PB , NJ stream fish!!
PS photo on I phone!

The GoPro HERO camera goes for a little under $200. It comes with a waterproof case, non-waterproof case, and a bunch of mounts, including a head-worn mount that I've used while kayak fishing. Very easy to use and easier to upload the pictures. Sports Authority and Best Buy sell them, though Im sure you could find them other places. A good investment if you want a camera that you dont have to worry about mounting or getting wet.

Dont sell yourself short cap
At 28 / 29 inches - you may be pushing 10....
