View Full Version : My boat, good for Round Valley & Spruce Run?

It is a Sears Gamefisher 14', I have a 8hp for it as well. I had it in Oxford lake and Merrill Creek and she floats fine, I use a MinnKota there. I did a lot of work to it and it turned out great. I spent last year getting use to it and boating in general, I want to try RV and SR, but want to make sure I am safe there.

Spruce Run for that style hull shouldn't be an issue if capacity & common sense safety is followed.
RV is a larger body of water that is basically open . Therefore you should be a tad more cautious , but in my estimation you should be fine in both bodies of water!
Don't take chances exercise good judgement , good luck!
