That is the person to get in touch with. They just weighed in a 5 lb. trout caught off the shoreline at RV.

You can fish there but not on the beach area for obvious reasons.
There is lots of access by foot around the lake.
Bass ,Pickerel, sunnies and lots of other stuff is in there.
I'm a hack there, as Andy sez Mz is the guy to ask.
Saw some nice fish caught there the last time we had fishable ice.
LOL, I'd love to say there are absolutely no fish in there....
You can fish from the beach itself when it's not Memorial Day through Labor Day but probably not a good spot as I don't think there's much cover there to shelter bass. Off to the side by the picnic area you're OK as there are weedbeds but I mainly fish from the rocks on the causeway.
It's much easier to catch largemouths over 2 LBS in that lake rather than the big one but if you're OK catching dinks with a bit more regularity the big lake will do. I've never caught a smallmouth in the swim-lake but heard that they're in there. Some big pickerel too that have shredded 10 LBS fluoro on me a couple of time. Below 2 of my bigger catches there last summer (who are hopefully still in there).
