Fished from 7 to 10. Caught about a dozen bullheads. Nothin big and no channel cats. Got skunked on spinners and rapalas too. Still, awesome night by the water.

I fished in the Lyndhurst/Nutley area from 1am - 4am.... and got nothing... I had one blow up but I couldnt see it happening (it was too dark) and I missed the hook up... I dont know what it could of been but it made a hell of a splash ... LOL.. and I saw a few swimming rats unless they were otters cuz again I couldnt tell cuz it was too dark... lol

I pass by that exact area 2-3 times a week. Often see people fishing there, often wondered what they are fishing for. I wonder how it would taste, especially them being resident fish. Funny, saw a sh*t load of seagulls just sitting on the water there last week. Almost as if they were waiting for something to happen.

Don't get me wrong, I have never, will never, eat fish out of my strectch of the passaic. Quote Samuel L. Jackson, "sewer rat may taste like pumkin pie, but I wouldn't know cause i wont eat the filthy mother f**ker." But I have had some serious battles (fishing only) on the banks of the passaic.
