Fished a couple of spots yesterday, lures and live shiners. After 3 misses on the shiner I got this nice smallie, about 2 pounds. Well worth me leaving work early:D A couple of things I noticed: it was buggy and I was getting bit, can't say if they were mosquitos or not. Also, saw some nice sized crayfish around the rocks I was fishing. Next time I go I know what bait I'll be bringing;)

Good report. I was on Pompton Lake yesterday and the mosquitos were OWNING me. Today I'm fishing the Dundee Lake section and made sure to bring my bug spray lol.

I actually started out in Garfield because I've been wanting to try that stretch of river but all the construction kinda scared me off...lol.
