yes, white 2" mr. twister on a 1/16 oz. jighead worms like a charm. they are much cheaper than inline spinners and can be fished in deeper water with varied retrieves.

Lard uses them all the time for Trout and catches Pickerel!

However, I've gone as light as a 1/64 oz. jighead for a more natural drift. I try natural colors like pumpkinseed when the white isn't producing.

I've had some luck with them at RVR (5 rainbows in one day once) and on the North Branch.

A 1/16 oz jighead with a 2" triple-ripple tail in either pumpkinseed or watermelon green.
