Just ordered a new Cabellas IM 6 ultra light and a Shimano reel to match along with a healthy assortment of Mepps and Rapals.

I even plan on buying a freshwater license this year.

Would like to spin for some trout this week.....Any suggestions?

Ok so where can I fish during the closed season?

During the closed season (3/19 - 4/7), you can fish, but not keep any trout from lakes Hopatcong, Farrington, Shenandoah, Propsertown, Swartswood, Clinton Res, Aeroflex, Wawayanda, Sheppard, White (Warren), regular or seasonal TCAs, and Wild Trout Streams.

You may fish for and keep two 15" trout/day from the trophy trout waters, Merril Creek or Round Valley Reservoirs during this time.
