RVR Sunday, not sure what spot yet.

Fishing on the start of daylight savings time is messed up, at least I felt that way last year.

LOL that's for sure!

I love daylight savings time, I just mean waking up that Sunday and losing the hour sleep and I kept thinking the time was an hour earlier when I fished it last year.

ditto on plans to get out after work for me.

robotics - my (recently deceased) neighbor, retired doctor, had very cool robotics setup... he had built several mobile robots, but latest was an "eye" on an arm mounted on his bench that had a camera and he was fooling with image recognition modules that he developed... the thing would swing around and identify objects in the room :D

1-one week closer to most likely buying the Hobie pro angler at the kayak show in Somerset
2- scratching my head if I want to get rid of, or keep as a spare, my soon to be old cobra fish n dive
3- going to see Larry the cable guy at the state theatre tonight, staying overnight as to enjoy ourselves 'responsibly'
4- waking up Sunday around sunrise as usual (EDT) although I can only twiddle my thumbs till the woman wakes up -to get back home and start the - Lets get ready spring is here and winter is gone routine!!!
5- grabbing a rod sunday afternoon and getting wet freshwater style 1st time this year, so far only salt- good luck to everyone.

Lots of ways to speed up that process. My favorite is the gas attack:eek:, or the cold water wash cloth wring out over the bed for those "out of gas" occasions;)

Good luck.

speaking of after work: any one know of some spots in "wharton state forest" (yeah covers a big area) to try besides Batsto Lake proper (and the adjacent streams of course, with which I'm familiar)? read an orvis report of fishing "the bogs" for pics and panfish, but don't really know where they're referencing. Of course, I plan on exploring, just looking for general direction :)

As an updates on whereabouts none of RVR's trout made it into my net this weekend. :(

I hooked into a nice 18" 'bow about 30 minutes after setting up shop on a Gulp minnow but he threw the hook at the shoreline. That was it for me for the day in almost 4.5 hours.

I saw a handfull of swirls and some splashes while I was out there but the wind was really honking.
