What size wire leaders do you guys use?

hey guys, on this rainy day im making my own wire nylon coated leaders for pike. just wondering what length you guys like to use? im making mine about 11 inches

Wire 6" should be plenty, I personally would use 30 to 35 Fluoro or HT Mono .

I use 5 or 6"... anything more ruins the action imho
