worked my favorite stretch again for a few hours. water was low and gin clear with trout, suckers and smallies cruising around. wound up with a 16" bow on a pink trout magnet, then later on accidentally foul hooked a smaller bow in its back fin. 2 fish again, not bad, but still pretty slow and didnt see anyone else catch. some fly fishing guy was getting over-excited from a school of suckers in the middle of the river, he thought they were huge browns lol....:p

If you can get trout in the KLG you can tackle just about any stream or river in N.J. Now it's time to spread your wings, that place gets tons of traffic.
PM some of the other guys who trout fish, get off the beaten path and find your own fish with nobody around, a great feeling.
Thanx for the report and photo.

i like KLG because its less than an hour from home and i never get skunked, there's always tons of fish and they are easy to catch, especially when the water warms up. i know all the holes and what works best so its a trusted fishery for me. i went to the musky last month for the first time ever and fished for 3 hours without a nibble. i'll try new spots in the spring but for now im sticking with what i know.:D

egg sinker size 8 hook earthworm and you'll catch those suckers and hopefully those annoying trout will leave you alone!
