Recently, me and my dad lost our "gal". I don't mean a person(that would be really weird:eek: ). I mean our boat. She's not lost, we just had to put her out of her misery. My dad bought her about 8 years ago. She had been used a couple times by a friend of his who didn't fish much anymore. We put her to good use. She has seen thousands of hours on the water. She was used in subfreezing weather and snow and she has been used in 100 degree heat waves. She has seen ten of thousands of fish from sunnies to stripers. And most of all, I have made many memories on her. Many PBs, firsts, and good times all around were had fishing on the SS Dinghy:) . We called here that as she wasn't the most stable boat out there:eek: . Really gonna miss her. However, I can't wait to get another boat. They really aren't holes in the water if you use them. In fact, they are one of the best investments as far as memories made go:) .

Thanks for your condolences:p . Looking forward to getting a new boat, most likely a 16' or so with a 9.9 outboard.
