Hopatcong 10/8: my first Hybrid

On a whim decided to do a nighttime Hopatcong trip from my 'yak. Picked up some herring and launched from Lee's right after dark. Hit a few points with no luck, finally got some nice readings on the fish finder in 25ft. Almost immediately after got smacked by something that faught harder than anything I've caught this year. After getting towed around for a minute, I landed this guy. Measured about 20". Had a few other big hits but nothing else landed.

Nice man. Those fish are a blast. Pound for pound, I don't think there's a freshwater fish, or any fish for that matter, that fight harder.

Thanks guys. Definetly hooked up the hybrid thing now...trying to get out there again at night sometime this week and catch something a little more serious.
