Hit Spruce Run with my son from shore this evening at 6:30 for about 2 hours. First 15 minutes there my son got a nice 3 lb smallie on a Pumpkin Senko. Threw a little of everything and got one dink LM on the same type senko. Spent the last 45 minutes just sitting and fishing earth worms for anything but no luck. Beautiful night out and rare quiet time spent with my boy (he's 17). It was a great night. This weekend feels like its going to be a good one with the weather change and cooler nights.
