Hit WV Res Saturday evening fromm 6:30 to 8:30 PM with the wife. Managed 10 LMB with her catching 7 and me 3 standing 10 feet apart from each other and using the same bait:confused: .....I got the biggest though at about 2.5 lbs...Nice fish for there.

Then went to Lake Musconetcong on Sunday mostly to run the engine on the boat (25 HP on my Tracker so most places I get to I can't use it.) Got there around 10:30 AM (after church and a nice breakfast out) and there was a tournament going on so the lot which is small to start with was tight. Managed one LM about a pound and a half. Hot and slow going. But the lake was nice and high, clear of weeds (for that place) and there were actually markers on all of the rocks and hazards. They must have gotten some money for improvements because that place is usually weed choked and the only hazard marking system was your prop. It was a nice change. I did see tons of fry among the lilly pads but no real activity.

Did not get to talk to any of the guys fising the tournament so don't know how they did earlier in the day....anyone know?

Markers on all of the rocks and hazards, that's a good thing, there are alot of rocky points in there. Thanx for the report.

Good job but as far as the tournament goes, dealing with one on a 300 plus acre lake ain't all that bad. Try having one on a 35 acre lake with 10 boats, a nightmare for sure:eek: . And even better, a 20 acre lake. Im not trying to be offensive, just saying I have dealt with a LOT worse:mad:.

I hear ya there...Didn't mean to come across like there were a lot of boats for the lake....It was only the parking lot that was tight. 10 trailers in that lot and it's full. It is very small for a lake that size.

OK, defintely have had that problem even on an uncrowded lake with a tiny parking lot. Again, nice job.
