Hit a somewhat popular lake close to my condo. Figured it would have been overfished this weekend, but I was pleasantly wrong!

Got to the lot at 6:10pm, got to my spot by 6:45 and tied on a black with blue flake senko and first cast nailed a bass. Thinking that it was a good spot I kept tossing around the pads and nailed a 3+ pounder! 5" senko crushed it tonight. Got 2 more bass and was extremely happy to close the weekend this way.

I'm still amped about that bass. I haven't caught one that size in a long time and I'm glad I learned about the Senkos. Thanks for the help with those, guys! Also, caught on my new stradic 2500 and MagTouch rod. The big one fought great and showed how much the pole could flex!

Will grab pic shortcuts from facebook when I'm not on my phone.

Senkos are killer baits. They are quickly becoming my favorite soft plastic to throw. Largies and smallies both go nuts for them!

Lard - they're becoming my go to worm - probably going to pick some more up tonight... they seem a little soft though - a few good shakes and off it goes... not cheap either! :)

Try jogger worms from Luck E Strike. They're much cheaper, and I haven't noticed much of a performance difference between them and the Yamamoto money sticks.
