Hey guys, I'll be going up there in a few weeks to visit my parents and they live right near the river. I know, like the raritan, it's tidal toward the mouth and can see stripers and others (not saying I won't be trying for those.)
Anyway, I just wanted to see if anyone knew anything freshwater-wise about NE Mass and very southern Maine. If SMB aren't nearby, I'll just be seeing what the ocean has to offer.

Don't know anything about the area but good luck...the stripe type should be there in numbers....there still catching nice fish in the raritan at the pipe so I would think they would be stacked like fire wood up there this time of year...take pic.s of your catch:cool:

I know there are still stripers here but they are alot up there already. The fishing in a few weeks should be very good. Don't know where or who, I just know they catch bass in the rivers all summer long and some real cows. I have heard they use large soft plastics. Hope you catch some cows. I would imagine more smallmouth that you probaly ever seen before too. Good luck, and I hope you catch lots of fish.
