Hit the raritan canal after a job interview today picked away at a few bulls and channels.Todays observations were everything that swims loves livers especially turtles, chumming with catfood works great,a channel will take your rod I almost lost one.37665/37667/37666

I just ordered the stink bait. Should be here any day. I'll give it a full trial on the channels in WV.

dog food works well also for chummin...use the cheapest stuff you can find...punch holes in can, put it in an old onion bag tie a string to it and toss it in...it like cat food will bring everything right to you...eels, turtles and cats...then use a good quality stink bait and you will only hook up on channels. That is the prime reason I only use stink bait....well at least the brand I use ONLY catches channels...no more turtles, eels or bullheads....
Regular flavor early in the season and blood once it getts warm.....some advice on the stink...DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT get it on your foam grip of your rod or in your car unless you plan on scrapping your car...bring paper towels with you and a small garbage bag. Oh and hold on to your rod tight....
