the kids wanted to go fishing with me today so i took them to the duck pond in secaucus (its close and i didnt feel like driving further HA) anyway, we only had hot dogs since i was out of worms so the count for today was my 10yo son got 9 my 12 yo daughter got 11 and i got 7...all crappies and sunnies...shoulda kept them and used them for bait elsewhere as they were all 'kid size' fish...fun time with the kids tho which is what matters more, now off to my parents with them for BBQ while the mrs is at her fathers today...HAPPY FATHERS DAY ALL DADS HERE!

first time either of them caught anything btw and it was my daughters first time fishing ever...now she wants her own rod LOL

I know the duck pond in Secaucus, glad you got out and had fun.
Always great to get the kids out and even better when they catch something!
Where is the duck pond? My office is in Secaucus yet I've never come accross it.

It's right down the block across the street. I went there a few years ago, only caught a handful of tiny tiny bass.
