Went from 4PM to 6:30 with the wife....Fished from shore and ended up being my best "day" out this year. Got 7 Largemouth all on a pumpkin/black-flake Senko. One 10" dink, one a little over 2 lbs, and the rest in the 1.5 lb range. The wife only got one but it was (of course) the biggest (and last) of the night at 3.5 lbs. All were in the weeds and shallow on the opposite bank from the parking lot.
With work and "family duties" lately haven't been able to get out much. This made up for some lost time at least.

How good is the shore line access there ?The parts that are accessible from shore are mostly weedy and shallow. You'd do much better if you put a boat/canoe in there.

There is a lot of access.....The side opposite the parking lot is shallow and weedy but that is a where I've had my best luck in spring through early summer. Including the creek feeding into it. Once we get deeper into summer it gets very weedy and then it is tough but frogs on top will usually get a couple and that is always fun.
The other side (parking lot side) is shallow on one end but you can get to deeper water as you walk away from the parking lot to the other end. I never had much luck on that side in the deeper parts though.
Getting a small boat/canoe on there would be great.....I just don't have one.
The best shore access is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the opposite bank but it's a very scenic walk-path. I've had deer, snakes and even a fox once cross my path.
I do enjoy this little lake though, glad to hear it's still giving up some bass on lures.
