Raritan river 6/10- 6/11:

Went out with catfishonthelake for a few throws in the late afternoon on Friday. We bounced around a few spots but ended up at the pipe. Catfish got a few small stripers and I had one about a foot long.
Went down to the river to do a few throws this afternoon and ran across a guy fishing the D&R canal, he was doing a number on the channels using chicken livers.
I got to the falls and there was nobody there and as I walked up to the water I spooked a school of large carp. They were feeding next to the edge, about 15 of them in the 10 to 15lb. class. I waded into the river and fished for a bit till the thunder came and the skies opened up.

Thanks again for the tour Andy!!! Looking forward to doing it again and to bringing Chris_JC to open up a can of whoopass on those channels this summer. I'm gonna liveline bluegills all night. If it can't fit a sunny in its mouth, I don't want it. Again, good times man. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot about that stretch of the river.
