or lack there of. took my cousin Brandon aka the cobra who after knee surgery ended his football and basketball careers has taken up fishing as his new way of staying sane. Got to the lake @ 4: 15 pm wind was blowing right at us and i knew this would = problem. got the chum set up and the rods out cobra then casted a daredevil and hooked a bass which spit his daredevil after 3 jumps. finally at about 5:15 had a runoff fish was hooked and it felt nice screaming drag and a big gold back was seen on the surface but it took off into the underwater reef and hung me up and popped the 6lb test. about an hour later had another runoff I set the hook and fought this one and brought it in a nice carp about 8lbs was promptly released. had 2 more runoffs but hooks poppeed out. so we went 1 for 4 and Cobra also lost another bass on a spinner this one was a nicer fish about 3lbs.wind died and we started seeing carp come all over eating the chum and of course park security kicked us out ahahah

but the coolest thing is we saw a MYSTERY FISH! I do not claim to be Shaw Grigsby but i have caught just about everything around here except a musky but this thing looked to me to be either a bowfin or a snakehead. had the body of a ling and and a round head and was big probably clost to 2 feet. i will find out for sure what it was as i now have a new quest be back at it weds

"either a bowfin or a snakehead", if it's a snakehead you know what to do right? Good job on the philly tarpon.
