Hit the water arond 7 very little on the surface got 2 on the soft hackle hares ear and had a couple of misses. not bad but there should be more suface action for this time of the year.

Hate the place!!!!!! Too shallow and lots of weed growth. Sorry, sad trout waters. Up river is a lot better.

I was there yesterday too, got a few but the gnats were too much.Its a good river but stephens gets hammered you have too do a little exploring best thing too do is what andy did run and gun.Get a map of the stream and stop at each spot youll eventually find much more productive spots.
